Isaberg Mountain Resort
Visiting Isaberg Mountain Resort is a must for adventurous cyclists of all levels. Set in a beautiful nature reserve in southern Sweden, surrounded by deep forests and lakes, the resort offers the perfect combination of outdoor adventure and peaceful Nordic scenery.
Isaberg is widely regarded as one of southern Sweden’s leading MTB destinations, with more than 25 marked trails ranging from easy green routes to technically demanding black trails. The trails wind through varied terrain and include everything from flowing downhill rides to challenging cross-country loops that test both strength and technique. For those who prefer fast descents, lift-assisted biking takes you smoothly to the top—ready for long, thrilling rides down the mountain.
In addition, Isaberg features one of Scandinavia’s largest pump tracks, a world-class facility of around 2,600 m² designed for riders of all ages to improve balance, technique and flow. There is also a large technical skills area and training zones where you can practice jumps, drops and other advanced features.
After a day on the bike, you can unwind and enjoy everything the resort has to offer. Accommodation ranges from cosy cabins and modern apartments to a four-star campsite, all within walking distance of the activities. MTB in Töllstorp
At Töllstorp Recreation Area, you’ll find excellent opportunities for mountain biking, as well as scenic cycling routes perfect for a relaxing outing with a packed picnic.
Mountain BikingTöllstorp is a growing MTB destination, developed by dedicated local enthusiasts. The area offers several well-marked trails of varying length and difficulty, all starting from the yellow clubhouse of Gnosjö Outdoor Club on Fritidsvägen.Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, there’s a trail here for you.
Spolen700 metres · Green · Easy“Spolen” is the easiest trail and ideal for beginners or those looking to practice basic techniques.The trail features a few small technical elements, but there is always an easier line alongside them. The entire loop is gravel-based, making it accessible even if you have little or no MTB experience.
Vattenhjulet3 km · Blue · Beginner-friendly“Vattenhjulet” takes you out into the forest on a gentle and enjoyable ride.There are no jumps or drops, but a few small climbs will get your legs working. This trail is especially suitable for children and beginners, and a great starting point before trying the more advanced routes.
Hammaren4.5 km · Black · Advanced“Hammaren” is the most challenging trail in the area, featuring drops, jumps, and steep climbs and descents.This route requires solid bike control and good fitness. It’s recommended to ride it slowly first to familiarise yourself with the obstacles—then push your limits on the next lap.
Tråddragaren9 km · Red · Intermediate“Tråddragaren” is a longer and more demanding trail with several climbs, some rocky sections, and mostly narrow singletrack.Set in beautiful surroundings, the trail also passes historic waterwheels along the stream leading up to Lake Töllstorpssjön—so take a moment to enjoy the scenery along the way.
X-cup5 km · Red · Competition trail“X-cup” is the area’s race track, designed for speed and flow.The trail is mostly moderate, with a few steep climbs and smaller jumps that can easily be rolled. If you have good technique and strong legs, this is the perfect trail to pick up speed.
Long-distance Trails: Järnbärarleden & Kävsjölänken17 km and 20 km · OrangeIf you’re looking for a longer adventure, try the Järnbärarleden or Kävsjölänken trails.These shared trails are originally hiking routes but are also suitable for mountain biking. Please be mindful of hikers and runners along the way.

It is fully possible to bike between Isaberg Mountain Resort and Värnamo town. Doins so you will follow the Järnbärarleden, Kävsjölänken over on to the Hillerstorpsleden that will eventually take you to Borgen Outdoor. Keep in mind that this trail is used by hikers so adjust your speed and be careful.
There i a lot of potential stops during this trip and we can recommend Töllstorp industrial museum, naturum Store Mosse and Hillerstorp harbour.

It is fully possible to bike between Isaberg Mountain Resort and Värnamo town. In the northern parts of our municipality there is a lot of hidden gems in form of gravel routes. With the incredible nature that Småland offers you can bike for a long time here on gravel roads without meeting a lot of traffic.

In the northern parts of our municipality there is a lot of hidden gems in form of gravel routes. With the incredible nature that Småland offers you can bike for a long time here on gravel roads without meeting a lot of traffic.

Borgen Outdoor
Borgen Outdoor is an outdoor activity area offering excitement for everyone. Whether you want to run, cycle, play disc golf, try orienteering, go wakeboarding, cross-country skiing—or much more—you’ll find plenty of ways to stay active here.
Thanks to strong local engagement and sports associations, Borgen Outdoor has developed into a vibrant outdoor arena filled with energy and adrenaline. At the same time, it’s equally inviting for those looking for a more relaxed experience. With scenic barbecue areas, well-designed shelters, and the iconic giant Aluminium Chair, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Ålandsryd.
Come here to practise your favourite sport, try something new, or simply enjoy the fresh air.

There is also a water tap near the parking area and main cabin, where you can rinse your bike or refill your water bottle (note that it is turned off during winter due to freezing conditions).
Mountain Biking (MTB)Borgen offers several clearly marked MTB trails through varied terrain, suitable for different skill levels:- Green trail – 3 km (easy)- Black trail (Swedish Championship course) – 5 km (advanced)- Orange trail – 8 km (intermediate)- Blue trail – 15 km (long-distance/intermediate)
All trails are signposted and marked with arrows—follow the direction of the arrows as you ride.Parts of the orange and blue trails run across both municipal and private land, so please respect landowners and show consideration.
The championship (SM) trail is highly technical, featuring multiple drops and obstacles—ideal for experienced riders seeking a challenge. There is also a pump track in the area to practise balance and technique.
For Children & BeginnersYounger riders can enjoy:- A 250-metre children’s track near the main cabin- A 450-metre green trail designed for kids, with fun turns and basic technical features
